SAT APRIL 1ST
Come celebrate hanami with your favourite kitties and good time peeps!
Hanami (花見, “flower viewing”) is the Japanese traditional custom of enjoying the transient beauty of the cherry (“sakura”) or plum (“ume”) trees. From the end of March to early May, sakura bloom all over Japan and other parts of the world. Today, hanami mostly consists of having an outdoor party beneath the sakura during the daytime or at night. Hanami at night is called yozakura (夜桜) “night sakura”which usually involve younger people and can sometimes be very crowded and noisy.
Flowers + a crowd + noise? We have all your hanami / yozakura needs covered with this one!
Following on the heels of a excellent, kick-ass throw-down in January, GTG and BOK combine forces once again to bring you a whimsical yet serious night of beats and sound. Featuring guest DJ LeeLee Mishi and the best sound system in town: Justin’s KV2.
